tuesdays are for learning

Just watched a show about how they make kebab/gyro. You know the big logs of meat that rotate and they shave off to make into sandwiches? They grind up meat - lamb or beef or combo of both - form it into big balls and thread it onto this big metal skewer thing like a baby ring toy. Then they smooth out the sides, wrap it up, and deliver to the kebab places that will cook them. It was not as disgusting as you might think. I used to be mildly concerned about how they got the meat into those big logs when I would eat gyro. Now I know how it works so it's not so scary after all.

I also learned a bunch of junk about the Aztecs from one of my sister's books I found.

Knowledge is power. Happy Tuesday.

I love gyro. We should eat at Sahara when you come for my graduation.

Incidentally, the word verification for this comment was "glyro."
