Kent met Diane von Furstenburg today. WTF! SFD!
While Kent was busy hanging with Diane, I watched The Notebook and cried like a little bitch. A little wimpy sappy bitch. I read the book on my beach trip back in August and thought to myself, "What's all the hubub about? Why don't I find this tear-jerking? Am I an insensitive asshole?" Turns out I am not insensitive, I just need the soundtrack of the movie to make me feel what words on a page cannot. Ah music, the melody of the heart. POMF.

he met dVf? omg...omg....wow. have to hear more about THAT!! i love her. you know, i think she and her parents escaped the holocaust by hiding in the woods. amazing woman...
anyway, while i check on those facts.... i read "the notebook" ages ago on a beach vacation; i was on a tiny island in the abacos and read it in one day. there is NO SHAME in reading nicholas sparks on beach vacations, lou, so breathe a sigh of relief.
i haven't seen the movies made of his books....except for the one with robin wright penn and paul newman....and kevin coster, me thinks. it was so retarded, but i imagine that ryan gosling and whats-her-name make the film adaptation tolerable in the same vein as leo and kate did to "titanic." ???
